China starts renovating 25,100 old urban neighborhoods in Jan-Oct 2025

In the January-October period this year, China started new construction works on renovating 25,100 old urban neighborhoods, as announced by China’s Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MOHURD).

The full target for 2025 is to start renovation of 25,000 old urban neighborhoods.

16 provinces and regions, including Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Shanghai and Jiangsu, have completed their renovation targets for 2025.
