China Shenhua Energy’s coal sales up 16.3 percent in January-August

Chinese coal miner China Shenhua Energy Company, a listed subsidiary of Shenhua Group - the largest coal company in China, has announced that in August this year its coal output amounted to 23.20 million mt, up 5.7 percent, while its coal sales totaled 38.20 million mt, increasing by 11.4 percent, both year on year.

In the January-August period of the current year, China Shenhua Energy’s coal output totaled 198.2 million mt, rising by 5.5 percent, while its coal sales reached 293.1 million mt, increasing by 16.3 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
