The World Trade Organization (WTO) has announced that China lost its appeal against the WTO decision that the antidumping (AD) duties imposed by China on stainless steel tube imports from the EU and Japan were illegal in the light of WTO rules.

The antidumping duties ranging from 9.7 percent to 39.2 percent were imposed in May 2012 and China filed an appeal with the WTO in May this year after the WTO ruled the duties imposed by China were illegal.
