China Coal’s coal output down 7.3 percent in January-April

Chinese state-owned coal company China National Coal Group Corporation (China Coal) has announced that in the January-April this year it produced 25.23 million mt of coal, down 7.3 percent year on year, while it sold 37.59 million mt of coal, decreasing by 8.5 percent year on year. 

In April alone, China Coal’s coal output amounted to 5.97 million mt, down 11.3 percent year on year, while its coal sales totaled 9.72 million mt, decreasing by 8.8 percent year on year.
