China Coal Energy’s coal sales down 7.3 percent in January 2026

Major Chinese coal mining company China Coal Energy Co., Ltd has announced that it produced 10.29 million mt of coal in January this year, down 10.4 percent year on year, while it sold 20.05 million mt of coal in the given month, down 7.3 percent year on year. 

In particular, in January its sales volume of its own coal production amounted to 10.57 million mt, up 1.7 percent year on year.
