China begins steel product purchases again

According to unconfirmed reports in the market, China began booking hot rolled and cold rolled steel sheet products after a break of more than a month. Chinese government took some measures to reduce steel imports by mid February due to prices' being extremely high in international markets. The prevailing price of 3.00 mm hot rolled steel sheet is around $570/t and cold rolled steel sheet is at the range of $680-685/t according to market sources.
