Chengde Group commissions cold rolled production line

Guangxi Province, China-based Chengde Group has successfully completed hot testing of its cold rolled production line No. 1, as announced by China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC) on June 4. China 19th Metallurgical Corporation, a subsidiary of MCC, was responsible for carrying out the construction work.

As previously reported by SteelOrbis, the cold rolled project in question has a designed annual output capacity of 1.20 million mt and will mainly produce high-end cold rolled stainless steel strip, which is widely used in construction projects, mechanical parts, auto parts, medical instruments and pressure vessels for the chemical industry.
