Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Chengde Steel has lately announced its successful production of 212.5 mt of 500 E earthquake-resistant reinforced steel bar made to Australian standard. These products, which are to be shipped to New Zealand, represent a further expansion of the company's range of steel products for the export markets.
