Changcheng Special Steel produces corrosion-resistant alloy flanges

On February 11, Sichuan Province-based Chinese state-owned steel producer Panzhihua Iron and Steel (Pangang Group) announced that its subsidiary Sichuan-based Changcheng Special Steel Co. has successfully commenced mass production of corrosion-resistant nickel-alloy flanges, becoming the first producer in the domestic market to start mass production of the product in question.

Corrosion-resistant nickel-alloy flanges are widely used in the petroleum refining and chemical industries. Pangang Changcheng Special Steel Co. has already produced 220 flanges amounting to 37mt, delivering them to customers for a total of RMB 6.5 million ($1.06 million).
