The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has announced it has initiated a re-investigation to update the normal values and export prices of certain rebar imported from Tosyali Iron Steel Industry Algerie.

If the exporter does not provide a complete response to the CBSA’s request for information, any previous normal values issued to the exporter will be immediately revoked and normal values applicable to subject goods exported by Tosyali Algerie will be determined by increasing the export price of the goods by 20.3 percent.

In May 2021, the CBSA made a final determination of dumping in respect of the subject goods for the period of investigation from June 1, 2019, to June 30, 2020. Accordingly, the dumping margin for the company was 4.8 percent of the export price.
