The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has announced that it has initiated an expiry review to determine if the continued or resumed dumping of hot rolled carbon steel plate and high strength low-alloy steel plate from Ukraine is likely to result in injury.
On September 18, 2014, the Canada Border Services Agency will determine if there is a likelihood of resumed or continued dumping. In the event of a positive determination, the Tribunal will determine on January 30, 2015, whether the continued or resumed dumping is likely to result in injury.
In February 2010, Canada imposed a definitive antidumping duty on imports of certain carbon steel plate and high strength low-alloy steel plate from Ukraine.
