Canada exported 3.76 million mt of scrap in Jan-Nov

According to Canada customs data, Canada exported 3.76 million mt of scrap in the first 11 months of 2017. In the Jan-Nov period, Canada exported 2.8 million mt (74 percent) to the US, 0.44 million mt (12 percent) to Turkey, 0.20 million mt (5 percent) to Mexico, 0.07 million mt (2 percent) to Taiwan, 0.06 million mt (2 percent) to Bangladesh, 0.06 million mt (2 percent) to India, 0.04 million mt (1 percent) to China, and 0.09 million mt (2 percent) to other countries.
