In the January-April period this year, production and sales of passenger vehicles in China amounted to 8.105 million units and 8.063 million units, decreasing by 7.5 percent and 6.7 percent year on year, respectively.
In April alone, production and sales of passenger vehicles in China amounted to 2.197 million units and 2.129 million units, down 2.6 percent and 4.2 percent year on year, while decreasing by 10.2 percent and 11.7 percent month on month, respectively.
In the first four months this year, China’s passenger vehicle exports amounted to 2.716 million units, up 68.8 percent year on year.
In April, China’s passenger vehicle exports totaled 796,000 units, up 14.5 percent month on month, while increasing by 84.6 percent year on year.
