Brazil’s iron ore exports rise by 2.38 percent in Feb over Jan

Brazil's iron ore exports in February this year rose 2.38 percent over the previous month, reaching 23.28 million mt. However as compared to February 2010, the country's iron ore exports declined slightly by 0.62 percent, according to the information released by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade.
 
In February, the average export price of Brazilian iron ore was US$117.5/mt - up from $111.7/mt in January and also up from $49.7/mt in February 2010.
