Brazil's iron ore export value in November this year rose by 35.8 percent compared to the same month last year but was down 3.3 percent compared to October this year, totaling $3.7 billion, according to the information released by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade. Brazil's iron ore export volume amounted to 31.8 million mt in November, with a rise of 14.2 percent compared to October this year and increasing by 28.5 percent compared to the same month last year.
In November, Brazil's iron and steel export volume amounted to 599,114 mt, with an increase of 43.2 percent compared to the previous month and up two percent compared to the same month of 2010, while these exports were valued at $397.3 million, with an increase of 40 percent compared to October this year and up 31.2 percent year on year.
