Brazilian flat steel exports down 28.6% in June from May

According to the statistics provided by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, in June this year Brazil's flat rolled steel exports totaled 168,900 metric tons, decreasing 28.6 percent compared to the previous month and up 18.3 percent year on year.

The revenue generated by these exports in June this year totaled $147.9 million, falling by 4.9 percent from the June 2011 level and down 27.7 percent month on month.
