Brazilian flat steel exports down 12% in July from June

According to the preliminary statistics provided by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, in July this year Brazil's flat rolled steel exports totaled 148,600 metric tons, decreasing 12 percent compared to the previous month and up three percent year on year.

The revenue generated by these exports in July this year totaled $134.8 million, falling by 8.9 percent month on month and down 7.5 percent from the July 2011 level.
