Brazilian distributors' steel sales are up
Brazil's steel distributors association, Inda, has disclosed that its members' steel sales rose 15.9 percent year on year to around 185,000 tons in December. Distributors' stocks stood at around 447,000 tons at the end of December, down 13.1 percent from a year earlier. Inda's distributors purchased around 206,000 tons of steel from steel producers in December, an increase of 34.9 percent from a year earlier.
