On Monday, Chicago, Illinois-based JMC Steel Group announced that as of April 1, 2013, the DOM product line will be marketed under the Sharon Tube brand name. In addition, JMC has named Bill Perrine president of the new division. Perrine, a 32-year veteran of the steel pipe and tube industry, most recently served as the CEO of Sharon Tube prior to his retirement in 2007.

"The reinstatement of the Sharon Tube brand could not have come at a better time," said Barry Zekelman, CEO of JMC Steel Group.

"We are very pleased to welcome Bill back to the company as president of our DOM product line," said Dave Seeger, president of JMC Steel Group. "Bill's extensive experience will make him an enormous asset for the division, and I look forward to working with him to continue to make our Sharon Tube DOM product line the best in the industry."
