Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Benxi Iron and Steel Co. (
Benxi Steel) has announced that it achieved an operating revenue of RMB 37.587 billion ($5.910 billion) in the first three quarters of the current year, up 11.20 percent year on year.
For 2012,
Benxi Steel is targeting a gross industrial output value of RMB 93.5 billion ($14.7 billion), sales revenue of RMB 101.6 billion ($16.0 billion) and a net profit of RMB 1 billion ($157 million).
