Bengang-POSCO JV exceeds January output targets

On February 12, Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Bengang POSCO Cold Rolled Sheet Co. (Bengang POSCO), a joint venture of Benxi Iron and Steel (Group) Co. (Bengang Group) and South Korean steel producer POSCO, announced that it produced 170,738 mt of steel products in January this year, 538 mt more than its output target, with outputs of common cold rolled coil (CRC), hot dip galvanized (HDG) and full hard CRC all surpassing the targets.

In January this year, outputs of cold rolled coil of DC04 and higher grades and of HDG of DC54D+Z and higher grades increased by 9.79 percent and 14.89 percent year on year respectively.
