Baotou Steel issues May ex-factory prices for HR and CR

On April 25, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region-based Baotou Steel released its May ex-factory prices for hot rolled and cold rolled products. The details are as follows:

The ex-factory price of HR has increased RMB50/mt ($6). After the adjustment, the new price of 5.5 mm thick Q235 HRC is RMB 4,100/mt ($532).

The ex-factory price of CR and Full Hard has remained unchanged. Thus, the price of 1.0 mm thick SPCC CRC is still RMB 5,100/mt ($661), while that of 1.0 mm thick SPCC Full Hard stays at RMB 4,600/mt ($597).

The above prices all include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of April 25, 2007.
