Baosteel Zhanjiang Steel’s new hot rolling facility starts production

The 2,250 mm hot rolling project at Chinese steel producer Baosteel’s Zhanjiang Steel production base was successfully put into operation on November 29, as announced by announced by China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC) on December 3. The project in question was designed by MCC subsidiary MCC CISDI Group Co.( MCC CISDI). It has a annual output capacity of 5.5 million mt of hot rolled coil (HRC).
