Chinese steel giant Baosteel Group has announced that it has succeeded in producing a batch of large diameter (LD) high-molybdenum alloy pipes for application in oil and gas separation plants (GOSPs) within the scope of projects of the state-owned China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), China's largest integrated oil and gas company.

Large diameter high molybdenum alloy pipes are commonly used in overseas oil and gas field projects. The product in question can be applied in deep fields which are usually filled with etchant gases.
