On November 17, Chinese steel giant Baosteel Group announced the completion of the hot trial run on the second stage of its grain-oriented silicon steel project. Accordingly, it has now commissioned the second stage of the given project.
The second stage of Baosteel's grain-oriented silicon steel project has a designed annual production capacity of 100,000 mt. In 2010 Baosteel's total output of the product in question reached 100,000 mt, with the output volume expected to rise to 105,000 mt in 2011.
