Baoji Petroleum Steel Pipe’s Ziyang mill achieves record output

Shanxi Province-based Chinese steel pipe producer Baoji Petroleum Steel Pipe Co., a subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), has announced that in the January-October period of the current year its steel pipe producing plant in Ziyang in Sichuan Province booked steel pipe orders totaling 286,700 mt, while its pipe sales amounted to 184,800 mt and its steel pipe production reached 187,800 mt.
 
In the meantime, as of November 5 the Ziyang mill’s steel pipe production in the current year reached 200,260 mt. Accordingly, in 2012 the Ziyang mill’s annual steel pipe output will exceed the level of 200,000 mt for the first time in 41 years. In January-October, the sales revenues of the Ziyang pipe mill amounted to RMB 1.403 billion ($225 million), also constituting a record compared to the annual revenue figures achieved in previous years.
