Azovstal production results for January-July
In January-July of 2006, Azovstal, a member of Ukrainian Holding Metinvest, decreased production of crude steel by 5.3 percent to 3.27 million mts, production of pig iron by 7.1 percent to 2.7 million mts, production of finished steel products by 6.2 percent to 2.9 million mts and production of agglomerate by 6.9 percent to 1.14 million mts compared to the same period of last year. In July, the enterprise produced 492,000 mts of finished steel products, 538,000 mts of crude steel, 442,000 mts of pig iron and 163,000 mts of agglomerate.
