AvestaPolarit starts operating a new CR line at Sheffield

According to latest industry news, Finnish stainless steel producer AvestaPolarit has started operating Sendzimir cold-rolling line at Sheffield, England. The new single-strand reversing line will process value-added austenitics, temper rolled stainless, martensitic and high-value carbon steel grades. The new line will have capacity to roll 150-470 mm wide strips to a minimum thickness of 0.1 mm and its maximum rolling speed will be 450m/minute. With the installation of the line, the capacity of strip production of the company will increase and the company will have the opportunity to enter new markets worldwide. The new line is the thirteenth line of AvestaPolarit at Sheffield.
