Average second-grade coke price in China up 4.3 percent in mid-September

In mid-September (September 11-20) this year, the average prices in China of coking coal and second-grade metallurgical coke were recorded at RMB 1,200.0/mt ($184.6/mt) and RMB 2,156.4/mt ($331.8/mt), remaining stable and increasing by RMB 89.0/mt ($13.7/mt), compared to prices in early September (September 1-10), i.e., remaining stable and up by 4.3 percent respectively , as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics on September 25.
