Average new house prices in 100 Chinese cities down 0.16% in June

In June of the current year, average new house prices in 100 major cities in China amounted to RMB 16,179/square meter ($2,247/sq.m.), down 0.01 percent month on month, while down 0.16 percent year on year, as announced by CIA, the largest independent property research organization in China.

Meanwhile, in June, the average second-hand house prices in 100 cities in China amounted to RMB 15,746/square meter ($2,187/sq.m.), down 0.25 percent month on month, unchanged from the month-on-month decline recorded in May, while down 1.75 percent year on year, 0.23 percentage points faster than the year-on-year decline recorded in May.
