Average HRB 400 rebar price in China down 0.8 percent in early July

In early July (July 1-10) this year, the average prices in China of 16-25 mm HRB 400 rebar, 6.5 mm HPB 300 wire rod, 20 mm Q235 common medium plate, 3 mm Q235 hot rolled sheet, 219 mm x 6 mm seamless pipes and 5 mm x 5 mm angles were respectively recorded at RMB 4,050.4/mt ($606.3/mt), RMB 4,256.9/mt ($637.3/mt), RMB 4,380.5/mt ($655.8/mt), RMB 4,317.0/mt ($646.3/mt), RMB 5,177.5/mt ($775.1/mt) and RMB 4,266.1/mt ($638.6/mt), decreasing by RMB 32.2/mt ($4.8/mt), RMB 30.2/mt ($4.5/mt), RMB 45.3/mt ($6.8/mt), RMB 43.7/mt ($6.5/mt), RMB 42.7/mt ($6.4/mt) and RMB 18.3/mt ($2.74/mt), i.e., down 0.8 percent, 0.7 percent, 1.0 percent, 1.0 percent, 0.8 percent and 0.4 percent, respectively, compared to prices in late June (June 21-30), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
