Australia initiates AD duty investigation for Chinese wire rod imports

Wednesday, 12 August 2015 14:56:53 (GMT+3)   |   Istanbul
Australia’s Antidumping Commission has announced that it has initiated an antidumping (AD) duty investigation against Chinese wire rod imports.

The duty investigation launched following an application lodged by domestic wire rod producer OneSteel Manufacturing Pty Ltd covers the period between July 1, 2014 and June 30, 2015. The application alleges that Chinese wire rod has been exported to Australia at prices less than their normal value and that the dumping has caused material injury to the Australian industry.

The goods in question currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7213.91.00 and 7227.90.90.
