Atlas Iron increases its shareholding in FerrAus to 96.83 percent

Australian miner Atlas Iron has announced that as of Thursday, September 29 it has received acceptances for its off-market takeover bid for emerging Australian mineral exploration company FerrAus which entitle Atlas to a relevant interest in 96.83 percent of FerrAus ordinary shares.

Atlas also reminded FerrAus shareholders that Atlas' off-market takeover bid for FerrAus closes on October 5, 2011.
