Atlas Iron achieves majority on FerrAus board

Australian miner Atlas Iron has announced that as of Tuesday, September 13 it has received acceptances for its off-market takeover bid for emerging Australian mineral exploration company FerrAus which entitle Atlas to a relevant interest in 71.57 percent of FerrAus ordinary shares.
 
Atlas has also nominated three directors for the FerrAus board, representing the majority of the FerrAus board.
