ATI Allegheny announces electrical steel surcharge

According to the statement released by ATI Allegheny Ludlum, the raw material surcharge on silicon electrical steel will be $400 per ton effective for shipments as of January 1, 2005. ATI Allegheny Ludlum adjusts surcharges monthly in line with the change in raw material costs. The December raw material surcharge on the same products was $315 per ton.
