Spanish national railway infrastructure company ADIF has announced that it has awarded ArcelorMittal Spain, Spanish subsidiary of global steelmaker ArcelorMittal, a contract amounting to a value of €12.7 million for the supply of rails for the construction, repair and replacement needs of Spain's rail network.
According to the statement, ArcelorMittal will be responsible for storage, conservation and monitoring of the manufactured product for one year. Meanwhile, the 12-month contract also covers transport work, loading and unloading from the factory to the melting shop and from there to collection points.
