ArcelorMittal invests $253 million to expand Canadian flat-rolled operations

Hamilton, Ontario-based ArcelorMittal Dofasco announced Tuesday that ArcelorMittal will invest $253 million over the next two years to increase production of Galvalume and improve energy efficiency at the Dofasco plant.

The government of Ontario, Canada will add as much as $43.6 million to develop better energy efficiency at the Hamilton operation, as well as reduce emissions at the plant.
