Arcelor sells its unit Acierie de l’Atlantique in France

According to statement released from steel giant Arcelor, the company has recently signed an agreement with Siderurgica Anon for the sales of Acierie de l'Atlantique (ADA), an electric arc furnace unit of Arcelor in France. Sales of ADA were €185 million in 2003 with shipments of 770'000 tons to European and North African countries. ADA runs as a continuous casting facility and produces semi-finished long carbon steel products called billets.
