Anshan New Steel issues new prices for Feb, mostly unchanged

SteelOrbis Shanghai On January 8, 2007, Liaoning Province-based Anshan New Steel released new ex-factory product prices for delivery in February 2007. The details are as follows: 1. Hot rolled The ex-factory price of HR remained unchanged. As a result, the new price of 2.0 mm thick SPHC HRC is still at RMB 3,750/mt ($481), while that of 5.75 mm thick SS400 HRC remains at RMB 3270/mt ($419). 2. Cold rolled The ex-factory price of CR has also remained unchanged. Thus, the new price of 1.0 mm thick St12 CRC is still RMB 4,000/mt ($513), while that of 1.0 mm thick cold rolled sheet is RMB 4,050/mt ($519). 3. Hot dip galvanized and color coated coil The ex-factory prices of HDG and color coated coil remains unchanged. The new price of 1.0 mm thick ST01Z HDG is RMB 4,860/mt ($623), while that of 0.5 mm thick color coated coil is RMB 6,300/mt ($808). 4. Non-oriented silicon steel The ex-factory price of non-oriented silicon steel increased RMB 100/mt ($13). Following this adjustment, the new price of 0.5 mm thick 50AW800 non-oriented silicon steel is RMB 4,850/mt ($622). The prices for February delivery of Anshan New Steel's other products remained unchanged. All the above prices exclude 17 percent value-added tax, and are effective for bookings made as of January 8, 2007.
