Ansaldo STS wins orders worth €183 million

Italian engineering and machinery company Ansaldo STS has recently received an order from the Danish government and local authorities in Copenhagen for the supply of a fleet of 28 three-car trains for the new line of the metro in Copenhagen. The value of the agreement amounts to €122 million, and the new line will be put into operation by 2018.
 
Furthermore, Ansaldo has won a €46 million contract for engineering and design related to the new East-West Line of the metro in Calcutta, India.
 
In addition, Ansaldo has been assigned the project for the extension of Line B of the metro in Rome, Italy. The value of this order is €15 million
