On September 9, Liaoning Province-based Anshan Iron & Steel Corporation (Angang) released its ex-factory prices for October. The details are as follows:
1. HRC
Prices have decreased RMB 1,050/mt ($154/mt). Thus, the new price of 3.0 mm x 1,500 mm SPHC is RMB 4,600/mt ($673/mt), while the price of 3.0 mm x 1,500 mm Q235 is RMB 4,500/mt ($659/mt).
2. CRC
Prices have dropped RMB 950/mt ($139/mt). As a result, the ex-factory price of 1.0 mm x 1,000 mm x C St12 is RMB 5,140/mt ($753/mt), while that of 1.0 mm x 1,250 mm x 2,500 mm St12 is RMB 5,190/mt ($760/mt).
3. HDG
Prices are down by RMB 650/mt ($95/mt). Following the adjustment, the price of 1.0 mm x 1,250 mm St01Z is RMB 5,600/mt ($820/mt).
4. Color coated
Prices have seen a decrease of RMB 400/mt ($59/mt). Now, the price of 0.47 mm x 1,250 mm TDX51D+Z is RMB 7,100/mt ($1,040/mt).
5. Medium plate
Prices have declined by RMB 300/mt ($44/mt). Thus, the new price of 20 mm Q235B is RMB 5,470/mt ($801/mt).
6. Heavy plate
Price levels have remained unchanged, with the ex-factory price of 80 mm Q235B remaining at RMB 6,480/mt ($949/mt).
