AK Steel alters monthly surcharges

AK Steel Holding Corp. announced that it will add a surcharge of $205 per ton for flat rolled carbon steel orders shipped in February. They will also add a surcharge of $280 per ton for all electrical steel products shipped next month. On the New York Stock Exchange, shares fell 14 cents, or 1.8 percent, to $7.73. The company cites raw material and energy prices for the surcharges.
