AHMSA moves forward with plan to lift suspension of payments

Altos Hornos de Mexico S.A.B. de C.V. (AHMSA) reported on Saturday that the federal district court of Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico, issued an agreement to facilitate lifting the suspension of payments.

A meeting of creditors will be held on April 18, 2016 in Monclova, and after the suspension is officially lifted, a representative from AHMSA will make a presentation before the Bankruptcy Court of the United States (pursuant to Chapter 15, Title 11 of the US bankruptcy code).
