AD talks between Taiwan, China set for June

As per the rumors in the market, The Taiwan Iron & Steel Industries Association (TSIIA) may agree to further relaxation of import controls on Chinese steel entering Taiwan in exchange for a positive Chinese response on the AD case on Taiwanese cold rolled imports, during the meting set for June. The Taiwanese government lifted a ban in imports on a wide range of Chinese steel products in April, including sections as well as hot and cold rolled products. If the proper authorities allow the relaxation of import controls, sources say it would permit 125 different Chinese steel products to enter Taiwan, though restrictions on several categories still exist.
