AD duties for Turkish square and rectangular profile exports to EU
SteelOrbis is reported that as a result of the investigations on Turkish mills conducted by EU officials, it is determined to implement anti-dumping duties to Turkish square and rectangular profile exports. According to this determination, anti-dumping duty rates to be implemented are ranging between 4-14%.
Yucel Boru and Cayırova Boru, which were included in the scope of EU's AD investigation, are subject to 4% duty, while MMZ Onur Boru (formerly known as Sevil Boru) and Ozdemir Boru are subject to a 14% provisional AD duty. Other unspecified Turkish mills are reported to be subject to duties varying between 4% and 14%.
It is also reported that mills subject to these AD duties on their square and rectangular profile exports, are objecting to the decision and request a second investigation in an effort to decrease duty rates to the minimum level which is 2.5%. Under the scope of anti-dumping implementations, duty rates at 2.5% level and below are not taken into consideration and put into force.
Final anti-dumping duty rates under this investigation are expected to be determined by the EU officials in the second half of July.
