To date, 142 different kinds of minerals have been found in the southwestern Chinese province of Yunnan, out of the total of 171 different kinds of minerals found nationwide in China, according to a recent national geological exploration experience exchange meeting held in Kunming, Yunnan Province.
Yunnan has 1,291 identified mineral resource reserves, including 118 large-size reserves and 280 medium-size reserves.
