10 million mt capacity steel base to be set up in Zunhua, Hebei

Steelmakers Jianlong Iron and Steel and Ganglu Iron and Steel based in the city of Zunhua in China's Hebei Province are to be restructured leading to the creation of a new steel production base with an annual output capacity of 10 million mt.
 
The new capacity will be reached via the implementation of an electroslag heavy melting steel and spring steel project with an investment of RMB 5 billion and a cold rolled silicon steel and HDG project with an investment of RMB 4 billion.
