With sales of some €1.7bn in 2003, SigmaKalon is the second largest supplier of decorative coatings to European markets. As a result of targeted efforts to build and maintain strong positions in individual European markets, SigmaKalon currently has a portfolio, which includes a number of leadership positions. In sales of decorative paints it is the leading producer in The Netherlands, France and Hungary, plus in Poland through a majority holding in Polifarb Cieszyn Wroclaw (66.7%). It also has leading positions in the Belgian and UK markets.
