Pemex is the Mexican Government owned Oil Company, the only company allowed to extract, refine and sell Oil in Mexico. As a subsidiary PEP (Pemex Exploracion y Produccion) is the entity in charge of exploring and developing new wells, therefore there is always the present need for steel pipes and tubes (among others).
