LUMPI-BERNDORF DRAHT- UND SEILWERK GMBH

“Lumpi-Berndorf Draht –und Seilwerk GmbH” was born in 2005 from the merger of “Ing. Josef Lumpi Drahtwerk GmbH” with “Berndorf F.A.S. GmbH & Co KG”. Both companies were traditional businesses in the area of electric energy transfer, and each have long histories. Lumpi was created in 1934 by Mr. Ing. Josef Lumpi, and since 1947 has produced cables and wires at its location in Linz. The Berndorf industrial site was established in 1840 by Mr. Hermann Krupp, and the wire and cable production was started in 1970.
